The completion of the shell of Pier 61|63 was celebrated on the banks of the Spree – in the good tradition of a topping-out ceremony in the presence of the craftsmen, contractors and planners involved.<\/p>

“The clarity of the architecture seems simple in its construction,” Erasmus Eller said in his speech, “but it requires the highest degree of complexity in planning and execution.” His thanks went to the determination of the client and the tremendous performance of the executing companies, who “together make the promise of the vision come alive”.<\/p>

In the approximately 120 m long building in Berlin-Friedrichshain, Trockland Management<\/a> is realising a mix of hotel with 167 rooms, 62 rental flats and gastronomy on the ground floor on nine floors and approximately 24,000 square metres of gross floor space.<\/p>

Eller + Eller Architekten have been commissioned with the object planning in the work phases 1 to 5. Previously, we had won 1st prize in the architectural competition.<\/p>
