“It looks just like it did before!” was the reaction from the Berlin State Monuments Office during the last inspection before the auditorium in the House of World Cultures was reopened. “Then we’ve done everything right in terms of monument protection!” was the spontaneous response of Beate Garibagaoglu, architect in the team of Eller + Eller Architekten and responsible for the construction management of this ambitious project.

Mikpritja, Hospitality, Gastfreundschaft. This was the motto of the latest Heinze Summit, which took place in the Albanian capital Tirana from 16 to 19 September 2021. A group of about 20 people dealt with the interesting topic of accommodation in workshops, city tours and a social programme. Gerald Ollig was there for Eller + Eller Architekten.
