The Heinze ArchitekTOUR visited the construction site of our MIZAL project in Düsseldorf today. Video interludes have been pre-produced for the event scheduled for 19 April 2021.
In several shots, Erasmus Eller presents the urban integration and the external structure of the campus architecture, which consists of several buildings, provides an insight into the office floors that are about to be built out and a view of the Düsseldorf city skyline through the characteristic façade.
Viewers will get a special insight into the world below the office floors: Lödige Industries is planning and building Germany’s largest fully automated parking system with 285 parking spaces on 3 levels for MIZAL. The space requirement can be reduced by 55% compared to a conventional system. In our short making-of video clip, Erasmus Eller talks to Dr Lukas Kopecki (Lödige Industries, Head of Sales) and Guido Knümann (CODIC Development, Managing Partner) on the lower level of the parking system.
MIZAL occupies a prominent place at the entrance to Düsseldorf’s Media Harbour. As a modern office campus, the project follows the guiding principle of open and communicative working. A special feature is the maintenance-free closed-cavity façade, the largest in Germany.
Once completed, the WPP Group, one of the largest global media and communications companies, will move into MIZAL as its new headquarters and set up approximately 2,500 state-of-the-art workstations.
