During our tour, we were able to explore the most diverse areas: there are the historically valuable areas such as the unique Robert Koch Hall, a historic lecture hall with a historically valuable ventilation construction. The extension for a large meeting hall also gives us pause during the inspection: A courtyard is being converted into a hall in keeping with the preservation order! This is where we can demonstrate our sure instinct.
The main priority is to expand the existing space capacity to meet increasing demands. New teaching and seminar areas are being created to provide students with a pleasant learning environment. In addition, modern technologies will be integrated to offer interactive and innovative teaching methods in the future. At the same time, we respect the existing fabric, the architectural character of the building.
The conversion of the Robert Koch Forum for the Hertie School of Governance will undoubtedly be an enrichment for students, faculty members and the entire university community. We are confident that the new building will meet the high standards required of modern educational institutions.
