The architecture platform Competitionline lists us in 23rd place in the ranking of planning competition results in 2021. All planning competitions whose results were published on Competitionline were taken into account.
We are convinced that planning competitions are a very important award procedure for architectural services in terms of building culture that ensures quality. The struggle between different competitors for the best planning solution brings a wide range of possibilities to the table, especially in the case of complex and demanding construction tasks, and puts the awarding authority in a position to lay the best foundation for the project’s success. This competition of planning services promotes innovation, creativity and quality. This is also the reason why we always like to actively participate in planning competitions.
However, the share of planning competitions in all architecture-related award procedures has been declining continuously for several years. According to the “Monitor 2022” published by Competitionline, the share of planning competition in 2021 is only 7.6 percent of all award procedures, compared to 30 percent in 2012. Thus, the Competitionline ranking only represents a subset of all award procedures in which we actively and successfully participate.
