As architects and general planners, we are building an interdisciplinary campus for research, development and production for Siemens Healthineers AG with 175,000m2 gross floor area.

3rd prize – Milestone Federal Quarter Competition in Bonn
On 28.04.2023, the jury awarded Eller + Eller Architekten 3rd prize in the two-phase structural engineering competition. Kreer Development GmbH offered a tender for the construction of a new high point with an urban square in the Bundesviertel in Bonn.

A very special occasion, which was duly celebrated on 14 September in pleasant autumn temperatures. Eller + Eller Architekten has been an integral part of the Architekturexport network and thus of international exchange for 18 years.

The project "Siemens Healthineers Campus Bengaluru" has been shortlisted for the International Architecture Award 2022 and is thus in the final of the jury's decision on this year's edition of the globally renowned award. The international architectural competition for the design of the new BMW production site in an urban environment has been decided. The jury, chaired by Erasmus Eller, chose two equal winners, OMA and 3XN, who will now jointly take over the planning. BMW presented the result to the public on 13.05.2022.

Boardinghouse Tonhallenstraße before the opening
The "Forty Three" boarding house in Düsseldorf's city centre opens on 11 June 2022. The seven-storey building will then have 42 appartments and studios available for rent.

The auditorium in the House of World Cultures was renovated and modernised
"It looks just like it did before!" was the reaction from the Berlin State Monuments Office during the last inspection before the auditorium in the House of World Cultures was reopened. "Then we've done everything right in terms of monument protection!" was the spontaneous response of Beate Garibagaoglu, architect in the team of Eller + Eller Architekten and responsible for the construction management of this ambitious project.
Hospitality. Heinze-Summit in Tirana
Mikpritja, Hospitality, Gastfreundschaft. This was the motto of the latest Heinze Summit, which took place in the Albanian capital Tirana from 16 to 19 September 2021. A group of about 20 people dealt with the interesting topic of accommodation in workshops, city tours and a social programme. Gerald Ollig was there for Eller + Eller Architekten.
Erasmus Eller: The power of visions
We need more courage. We need places where we can think about the future together. What power can the vision of modern working environments develop in the joint planning process with clients and users? What can the campus as a typological approach to built corporate culture contribute to increasing corporate success? 75 Years of NRW – Exhibition in the Behrensbau
On 23 August 1946, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia was founded with the state capital Düsseldorf. The state of NRW will celebrate its 75th anniversary from 27 August 2021 to 23 May 2022 with an anniversary exhibition "Our State. 75 Years of North Rhine-Westphalia" in the "Behrensbau" on the banks of the Rhine in Düsseldorf. Eller + Eller Architekten were commissioned with the conversion planning of the Behrens Building in order to prepare the listed building to host the anniversary exhibition
Cultural Memory: From WestLB to the DoC Dortmund Centre for Medicine and Health
The exhibition "Harald Deilmann - Living Architecture" will take place at the Baukunstarchiv NRW in Dortmund from 27 August to 7 November 2021. The occasion is the 100th birthday of the architect Prof. Harald Deilmann in 2020. Due to the pandemic, the exhibition originally planned for 2020 was postponed to 2021. We refurbished the WestLB Dortmund building designed by Harald Deilmann and converted it into the DoC Dortmund Centre for Medicine and Health. We have written a report on our approach to this extraordinary challenge for the exhibition catalogue.

We are planning the Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy
Eller + Eller Architekten, as process leader in a consortium with Meyer Architekten, were able to prevail over the renowned competition in the award procedure with competition for the new institute building on the former Opel site. The commissioning of the approx. 12,000 m² new institute building comprises work phases 1 to 9. Planning has already started immediately.

75 Years of NRW – Building Permission for the Exhibition Areas in the Behrensbau in Düsseldorf
Eller + Eller Architekten have been commissioned with the conversion planning of the Behrens Building for the anniversary exhibition "75 Years of NRW". A feasibility study on the revitalisation, including an analysis of the existing situation and a description of the potential, was prepared by us in the period from January to April 2020, and the building application was submitted in October. Now the building permit is available.
